Holding High Vibration - Keep Going!
As we go through awakening, the challenge for us becomes keeping our vibration high. How can we keep joyous emotions such as love, happiness, gratitude, and bliss at the core of our existence all day? The answer is, it's difficult to maintain and there will be ebbs and flows.
The lesson is to trust that we are always moving forward. Meaning, once we have acknowledged one lesson that brought us closer to our truth, we never lose that knowledge. It could be discovering a past life and how it relates to this one, or it could be building in some self-care habits that help us ground daily. Even harder, it could be some major life changes that we must make to take a step forward, such as tough conversations with family, quitting a job, or leaving an unhealthy relationship. The spark of positivity that we get from every action, thought, and lesson done in the correct direction, will take us forward.
These small steps taken in the right direction will build upon each other. It's akin to constructing a stone path leading to our own enchanting sanctuary, a serene and beautiful place that requires time and effort to establish. Part of wanting to be better means that we have to enjoy the process; the higher-self will continue to guide this process when we have a chance to listen and respond, and this takes time. The best information comes when we are calm and centered. Change can feel unharmonious when it's not comfortable or 'easy' yet. When we are still moving around pieces of our life, they haven't settled into place yet.
The obstacles we face are little tests along the way; they are purposely planned to check our adherence. Are we getting this? Do we want to go further? Are we curious and determined? Did we fall back into a place that stunted our growth? Remember that we are rarely confident when we first try something new, and each lesson requires growth into a new pattern. With competence and adherence comes confidence. Meditation, for example, feels difficult at first but second nature the more we practice.
Honestly, we'd have to live like a monk or recluse to be able to ignore the rest of the world and live in absolute peace. The world has been designed to be one big distraction from ourselves. There is also a challenge to shifting away from mainstream ideology to explore the lesser-known consciousness levels. When the world around us moves so fast, with most people stuck in a screen all day or working to no end, we start to feel the weight of being 'different' when we chose to not be part of that nonsense. There has to be a balance of aligning our truth while we continue our growth, and that fine line can feel wobbly at first.
So by understanding that part of the process is in the challenge to continue, we can free ourselves up from blocking further progress. Even when progress feels small or nonexistent, it's still progress by wanting to continue. Remember that every thought, word, and acton contribute to the next level of consciousness. Removing the old patterns takes time, and implementing the new patterns takes time. Stay on the path and know that the next-best version of you is cheering you on at every step of the way. Slow down, enjoy the ride, remember how far you've come, and keep moving forward.
